Continuo Organ and Trunk Organ
We have developed a two stop continuo organ and a trunk organ with up to six stops. We
shall be building these during the summer and they will be available as of October 99.
Continuo Organ

of the Continuo]
This instrument consists of four parts. Removable keyboard - centerpiece with pipes
base with windchest and bellows stool.
This concept makes for easy transport; covers, of metal or of cloth, can be provided on
request.
The keyboard is transposable, up or down, and is complete with counter B.
- The Holzgedackt 8' is of wood throughout
- The Holzrohr Flute 4' is of wood up to g'' and then metal.
The wooden pipes keep excellent tune, especially so because of the glued on caps. This
makes the instrument ideal for travel. A different pitch can be adjusted to with no
problem.
What makes this instrument interesting is that the stops are activated by foot. Thus
the organist needn´t lift his fingers from the keyboard whilst playing. The inspiration
for this type of stop activation came from a world-famous organist and we jumped at the
idea.
