Glatter-Götz Organbuilders has received its
first contract in Russia (Ural) The concert organ for the
Philharmonic Society Perm, has 36 stops + 4 extensions on
on III Manuals (Great, Swell, Continuo) and Pedal. The existing
Concert Hall was renovated for this purpose. In the course
of this renovation the acoustics were improved. The organ
stands on a vibro-insulated platform so that the Parliament,
which holds session in the next room is not disturbed by low
frequencies of the organ.
The organ was Inaugurated in December of 2003. |
