A new, fully mechanical 15-stop organ with an extension and pre-draw on II Manuals and Pedal has been installed in Langau, Austria (Waldviertel) in the Catholic Parish Church.
The specification was provided by Peter Wurst, organist in Langau, and Karl Kastel, St. Polten.
Through an oversight we negelcted to include this information in our homepage, although the contract was awarded to Glatter-Götz Organbuilders in January 2002.
The instrument is our Opus 14.
The case is painted, and the console fashioned in natural Swiss pear. The design was created by our design architect, Graham Tristram of Edinburgh. The voicing was carried out by Eberhard Hilse.
The festive inauguration of the organ took place in October, 2003.
